Painting can be such a drag

Ok Little boys and girls I'm back with a little post for your entertainment.

I am now in the middle of painting my house. I am finaly done with all of the pain in the ass taping mudding and what sux the most is the sanding.

My next problem is deciding what colors to paint my bedroom and my living room. Im leaning to the color red in my bedroom and I don't know waht to do with the livingroom. So if you have any ideas give me a few because I can't decide.

After I am done with the painting then I have to tackle the finishing of my hardwood floors and then do some trim work around the doors and base molding and I will be done.

I love red rooms!! Your supposed to have a lot more fun in red rooms. So, putting it into your bedroom is a plus!
Is the hardwood floor in your living room floor cool hues or warm hues? Whatever it is go just the opposite for your walls.
This was a tip from my sister who is addicted to TLC re-modeling programs.

Hey Keith... you got any idea for keeping my furnace from short cycling?

I'm gonna try cranking up the amperage on the heat anticipator, but I think it's gonna take an adjustment to the furnace.

Liam, what do you mean your furnace is short cycling? Is the circuit breaker tripping? The could be due to an overload or a short circuit. If it is a short you want to be careful when you reset the breaker. Those breakers are only tested to interrupt short circuits twice. Most likely, it would be due to an overload. I would need to know more about the situation and what exactly is happening.

It's not a circuit tripping. The furnace has too short a burn cycle. So the thermostat says to the furnace, "FURNACE! MAKE FIRE!" and so the furnace makes fire. But the furnace doesn't make sufficient fire, and stops burning too soon. So five minutes later the thermostat says, "FURNACE! MAKE FIRE, DAMMIT!" And this process repeats itself until I am poor.

So I want to increase the burn cycle. The heat anticipator might be causing this. It's a little heater in the thermostat that turns the furnace off a little early so the furnace doesn't overshoot its target temperature.

I'm not sure if that's what's causing this, though. I've checked out the furnace. It turns on, burns hot for a bit, then the flames turn off, and the fan keeps blowing (cold air). The obvious alternative is that the furnace is overheating due to poor airflow through it, but that doesn't appear to be the case. I'm hoping I don't have to call an HVAC dude out to fix this for me. But will if it means being less poor in the long run.
